Overall California YPP Clearance questions, Event registration, mylumi questions, scrimmages and when will registration open?

How do I complete the Overall California YPP Clearance Status in order to finish the FIRST required YPP?   How do I check with FIRST why my LiveScan completion status has not yet been updated in the team dashboard?   How many days does it take for FIRST to update my status once I complete the Mandated Reporting training and/or LiveScan?   

2.  Will our team be able to register into a tournament if we have not completed the YPP requirements?    

The short answer is that No, you will not be able to register.  In order to register into a tournament the team's status must be "Good" in mylumi.  To get to "Good", this does require both coaches to have completed all of the trainings, acknowledgements, LiveScan, etc that FIRST  (and California) requires.   Additionally,  the team must have a complete roster -  every team member must be added electronically - there is no provision this year for manually adding someone to the roster and there are no exceptions (at least for the November qualifiers). We do expect to figure out a process that works for exceptions in time for the Spring League registration.

We have completed (or updated) our team's roster on the FIRST website but mylumi status has not changed?  Do both coaches have to have an account in mylumi?  Our team's status shows "Pending Lumieos Invites" but both coaches have accounts in mylumi - how do we fix this?    [And I just tried out the new Bulletin board feature in mylumi for teams with the "Pending..." status - did you get that message?]

3. What scrimmages or project feedback sessions are available?  Want to pull together a scrimmage but not sure how?   We have a logistics page at https://www.norcalfllc.org/scrimmages-2/

Generally we encourage everyone to post these types of community-organized events on the social.norcalfll.org site   [if you go to https://social.norcalfll.org/activity/  and then just select show Updates, that will give you just the "good stuff".   As one example,  Fremont HS in Sunnyvale is hosting a Mock Judging day - check it out! ]  Hopefully scrimmages will show up there soon as well.  Most of the time, scrimmages are the last couple of weekends of October or thereabouts...   These are all community-organized (aka you), so if you want them to happen, you need to help make them happen.
