It was a close run thing, but in the end, with all of their mechwarriors dead and their infantry dead or depleted, your enemy withdrew.   Unfortunately all those mechs you found are now stuck in a squabble between House Kurita and Comstar, so all there is to salvage is that dead Locust.  Suddenly everyone is an expert in salvage law, and the sky is dark with suits. 

That being said, it does look like House Kurita is going to end up owning the factory.   Nobody is quite sure how it happened, as a significant part of the Comstar legal team seemed to come down with food poisoning just before that part of the negotiations.  It might be enough of a prize to keep Ms. Kawasaki out of a stockade on some forgotten world.

I need to go back through the death of carried units rules and consolidate them, as they were a bit of a mess this time out.

Presently no plan for a game in january as I am going to be travelling quite a bit.  Next game right now will be in Feb.

I bumped into Thomas at the game store last week- I was surprised to hear that the game in Berkeley lives on! 

Yes, this has been an exacting year of trials indeed.

My stint at the government has fulfilled its term.  

I am currently on a leave of absence, and considering next steps, retirement, etc. ? 

Probably a ronin of sone sort.

That would be great. If you like I can cruise over this Saturday the 9th. We can play some games and catch up a bit. Unfortunately, Marie Callendar’s closed down so I can’t bring a traditional Razzleberry pie.

 

This is my last window of opportunity for the foreseeable future. I will be at Battletech on the 17th and playing board games the 24th, but after that I’m off on trial runs for a couple months. Shoot me an email if Saturday works. If not, our paths will eventually cross. 😊
