Mission Briefing:
Ioto Galactic Enterprises North Bay KF Drive Assembly Site, 06:25 local time
Those of you in the second line steel yourselves as you get a priority transmission from the first line.
“This is first line leader Bram Kliner. The Black Marauder has broken through the first line. It’s headed straight for the KF drive!”
As soon as the Black Marauder comes within 100 meters of the KF drive, luminous white tendrils lance out from it to pierce the gigantic structure. For a brief moment, nothing happens. Then, to your horror, you see the drive come to life. What starts as a soft glow and low hum quickly becomes a blinding brilliance accompanied by a deafening roar. Then, there is a flash and the air rushes into an undulating, kaleidoscopic vortex where the KF drive once stood.
Miss Black immediately radios in.
“What the hell is that!? I can see it from orbit! Dr. Romero, what’s going on down there!?”
Dr. Romero’s response is full of static and background noise.
“I can’t believe it! It’s a stabilized KF wormhole! These normally only exist for a fraction of a second! The amount of power needed for this is–”
“Is it dangerous!?” Miss Black asks before Dr. Romero can continue rambling.
“Oh, incredibly! Don’t get pulled in or you’ll be sent to God-knows-where!” he responds.
“How do we stop it!?” Miss Black shouts.
“I would guess that destroying the Black Marauder would cause this wormhole to destabilize and collapse normally! I’m still working with Franco’s men on my plan, but if it doesn’t work the whole planet could be at risk if we don’t put an end to this soon!” Dr. Romero cries.
“All the more reason to destroy it! Get to it, AA!”
Primary - Destroy the Black Marauder
The KF Wormhole is 10 elevations tall, blocks line of sight, and cannot be fired through.
At the end of each movement phase, all units except the Black Marauder will be pulled a number of hexes towards the KF Wormhole. This additional movement does count towards movement modifiers. If this additional movement would cause a unit to enter a building hex, it is treated as if the unit moved through that building (TW p.167). In any instance where this movement would cause units to enter the same hex in such a way as to violate Stacking Rules (TW p.57), then the Domino Effect (TW p.153) is triggered. Any unit ending a turn in a hex occupied by the KF Wormhole is irrevocably lost. A mech pilot can attempt to eject in an effort to save themselves with a PSR at +3 plus an additional +1 for each point of internal structure damage suffered by the mech’s head.
While units for this mission were pre-selected in the previous mission, you may freely swap any units in the second line for units from the first line. You cannot exceed 16 units in total, and you must have permission from the unit’s owner to include a unit that is not part of your company. You have until one week before game day to declare any changes. The two tables below list all first line units and their status and all second line units.

Assassination - Mission objectives involve the destruction of one or more specific targets
Urban - The mission takes place in urban terrain
Strategic Options - AA will need to make difficult choices as part of unit selection
Dangerous - There is a higher than normal chance for pilot injury or death
Asymmetric Force Composition - The amount of tonnage deployed by AA and OpFor may not be equal
Time Sensitive - Success or failure of mission objectives hinges on completing them before time runs out
ALL STARS - AA may bring units from any mercenary company and are encouraged to bring their best

In any instance where the gravitational pull of the wormhole would cause units to enter the same hex in such a way as to violate Stacking Rules (TW p.57), then the Domino Effect (TW p.153) is triggered. Once a unit has triggered the Domino Effect in this way it stops moving towards the wormhole, but other units drifting into its hex can continue to push it into other units or towards the wormhole. The flow chart below will help with resolving the domino effect (see attachment).
What this means is that you can potentially be moved further than the number of hexes the wormhole is pulling you if you happen to get bumped by multiple people, so think carefully about your moves and bunch up at your peril.
Let me know if you have any questions about this.
