Mission Briefing:
Dropship Dotted Line, orbiting Alarion near Port Sydney, 21:02 local time
“Attention mercenaries! Attention mercenaries!” Miss Black’s voice rings out over the ship’s intercom. “I have two optional assignments for any volunteers looking for extra field work. Please meet in Briefing Room Alpha in ten minutes for more information. That is all.”
After you rush to the briefing room you find Miss Black is already there waiting for you. “Ah, thank you for coming so quickly,” she says casually. “This is going to be a little less formal than usual as there’s not much to these assignments. First, Dr. Romero needs an escort back to Ioto Galactic Enterprises to examine the Marauder’s drop pod for clues about its origin. You are to escort him there, assist him with his investigation, then return him safely to the resistance. Second, Rohrkabel and Bote are doing some espionage and need boots on the ground to assist them with their operation. You are not expected to see combat in either assignment. I’ve got shuttles leaving in 15 minutes, so pick your assignments and get to your rides.”

Primary - Escort Dr. Romero during his investigations
Primary - Assist Rohrkabel and Bote with their espionage operation
Special Rules
Side Missions
These are both side missions, meaning that they are taking place outside of the confines of a normal mission and will not see any play time on the table top. Units participating in these side missions may not be available for the next table top mission, so plan accordingly…
Espionage
As these are both espionage missions where combat is not expected to take place, you are selecting mechwarriors, vehicle crews, and infantry platoons to send on these missions without their associated rides.
Tonnage Allotment
Zero. Since these are espionage missions, each player that wants to participate may assign one mechwarrior, vehicle crew, or infantry platoon to one of the two missions. This is optional–you are not required to send any units on this mission if you don’t want to. Please state which mission you want to send your people on when you make your submission.
