It doesn't take much to set up a unit, when you're ready. 

See starting a mercenary unit in The Laws of War

I think I've got 8 or so mechs or the bad guys, so it will be pretty easy to do. once we see how things go at berkeley, I think we can get you set up.

We are presently on a class C FWL planet so, you're probably going to get some interesting random rides.

Seriously though, that's a lot of long range firepower there with plenty of bodyguard units to keep them safely out of harms way.  I look forward to seeing them in action.
