– A JOB PORTAL WITH COMPREHENSIVE OFFERINGS FOR JOBSEEKERS!!

AMP India Foundation announced the launch of it’s most eagerly awaited project, AMPowerJobs.com, (www.ampowerjobs.com) India's 1st Comprehensive Free Jobs Portal run by volunteer Industry Professionals to help every Indian get a job of their choice, especially their 1st Job after passing out of College and also for those who have lost jobs during #Covid Pandemic.
One of the unique features of this Jobs Platform apart from connecting the Employers, HR consultancies and Job Seekers is that, it will also provide opportunity for Colleges and Institutions by arranging Free Employability Training Programs for their Undergraduate students and get them Job Ready through Skills Training and Mentorship by Industry Professionals.
In the launch event organized today online attended by more than 500 participants, the honorable guests lauded AMP India Foundations’ role in providing direction to youth for Education & Employment Assistance. They all appreciated AIF’s growth through humble beginnings and how it has grown exponentially with its activities.
Dr. Aditya Srinivas - COO, Bombay Stock Exchange Brokers Forum, while speaking at the launch event said “Due to COVID pandemic more than 1.7 crore jobs have been lost in the formal sector and many more in the informal sector. This portal will be of great help to such people. Besides, it can offer skill training to youth to become Entrepreneurs by training them in various Stock Market programmes, as one entrepreneur can create more jobs.”
Mr. Aamir Edresy, President – AMP, said “This is India’s first comprehensive Job Portal, which will not only offer Jobs but also Skills Training for under-skilled youth and Employability Training for under-graduates wanting to enter Corporate World.” He further added that “In the coming days, our endeavour is to establish an Employment Guidance Center in every district of India.”
Dr. Sayed Peerzade - Group CIO, Reliance Entertainment, said that It was his good fortune that he got associated with AIF during the COVID pandemic and got the opportunity to serve the youth and the Nation through their Employability Training Programmes. He further said that he will be always available for AIF in their noble endeavors.
Dr. Rihan Khan Suri - Professor and Training & Placement Officer (TPO), Jamia Millia Islamia said “This is a very opportune time to launch this Job Portal as many have lost their jobs in the Pandemic and young graduates are finding difficult to get jobs.”
Mr. Faiz Sirkhot - Head, Talent Acquisition and Leadership Hiring, TCS, said “This initiative is a great example of how a dedicated and driven team when they come together can create Magic.”
Mr. Iftekhar Bidkar – Head Employment Assistance Cell (EAC) at AIF and the Lead responsible for the launch of AMPowerJobs.com, made the Portal go Live during the programme. He demonstrated the user-friendliness of the Website and exhorted the Corporates, the Placement Agencies & Recruiters to post their Jobs on this portal as it was completely Free for the candidates as well as for them since it was a service by a non-profit organisation in the interests of the Society and the Nation.
Mr. Razak Shaikh – Head of Projects at AIF proposed vote of thanks to the Guests and Participants and said “My kudos to the entire Employment Cell team for having got this website together and posting more than 6000+ 100% verified jobs at the launch itself. The reason for launch of this new Job Portal was that we have an entire eco-system in place for not just providing jobs but various training modules and individual mentorship as well.”
Mr. Aamir Edresy, specially mentioned the hard work of all the team members including Mr. Soheb Selia, Gen. Secretary, Mr. Shahid Hyder, Member-EAC and others in putting up the Website together. He said that Challenges bring Opportunities and the Pandemic has helped us to introduce many new initiatives.
