WithAarya is an NGO founded by Ms. Shital Bhatkar and Mr. Vikrant Bhatkar in memory of their beloved 7-year-old son, Aarya Bhatkar. Aarya bravely battled a rare genetic disease called Niemann-Pick 'C,' which causes a metabolic disorder in the body. Inspired by his strength, WithAarya supports children with similar rare disorders through comprehensive supportive care. We also provide financial assistance to families in need, aiming to help cure children facing similar challenges. Since our establishment, we have been dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the world.

An initiative started in the year 2016, Don Ghaas literally means "Two Morsels". We began with a modest distribution of 50 meals a day outside KEM hospital in Mumbai and have grown tremendously ever since, currently touching 1000 meals a day. We also started distribution at Ratnagiri Civil Hospital in the year 2020, Kalwa Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital, Kalwa and Chhatrapati Pramila Raje Hospital, Kolhapur in the year 2022. The meal comprises roti, sabzi, dal khichdi and a banana.

We monitor the medical files of patients who we support. We have collaborated with distributors so that medicines can be procured at discounted rates. Each file is closely examined right from the tests to medication. We try to walk hand in hand with the caregivers.

We have come across several bright children who could not pursue education as they lost a loved one and a breadwinner or money to a critical illness making it difficult for these families to sustain the education of their children, sending them back to the vicious cycle of no education and no money. At WithAarya through this initiative, we want to break this cycle by offering scholarships to those children who deserve.

WithAarya proudly manages a full-service kitchen at a Dharamshala dedicated to cancer patients. This new kitchen facility serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner at highly subsidized rates to patients and caregivers residing at the Dharamshala. These fresh, wholesome, and healthy meals significantly enhance the comfort and overall stay experience of the beneficiaries.

The volunteers are from all walks of life and have the simple motive to help and serve the underprivileged people.

Having worked with companies like IQVIA, Novo Nordisk, Becton Dickinson and DuPont (now IFF), he has now accumulated rich experience to drive/advise on initiatives from conceptualization to action. Along with the 'Withaarya' team he intends to positively impact the lives of patients with rare disorders and their caregivers.

Vivek Subramanian has vast experience across strategy, fundraising, business development, operations and financial management. Prior to founding Fourth Partner Energy, a renewable energy company focusing on delivering distributed solar solutions to commercial and industrial clients; he was the Founding Partner at Avigo Capital, an Indian SME focused PE fund (AUM $375 million). Vivek holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.

Ameya has over 27 years of Project and Cost Management experience and throughout his career in the construction industry, Ameya has been fortunate to work for world class firms, serving many fortune 500 firms as clients and helping deliver major projects across a range of sectors, including Data Centers, Commercial and Life Sciences.

Anamika Malhotra is a distinguished advocate with a Science and Law background, graduating from Bombay University. Practicing at the Bombay High Court, she is a member of the Bar of Advocates Association of Western India. Appointed as Counsel on the Central Government panel, she has represented various government departments, including Income Tax, Service Tax, and the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai.

As an Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Maharashtra, Anamika represents the Police department before the Bombay High Court. Her expertise spans the City Civil Court, Central Administrative Tribunal, State Consumer Forum, Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal, and Labour Court. She has also served as an Arbitrator in cases appointed by the Bombay High Court and has delivered lectures to CISF officers.

WithAarya is a unique NGO that caters to caregivers of patients afflicted with various types of diseases. At WithAarya, there is no discrimination; no matter what the illness, food is provided. What we often miss is that several diseases involve months of hospital stay, making it really difficult for caregivers to afford their own food.

Don Ghaas has been a wonderful opportunity for me and my family to serve in our neighborhood. Every time that I have gone there as a donor, I have in turn felt more of a receiver. A bag full of blessings, contentment, satisfaction and connection with the Lord is what I took home. There is an everlasting joy in giving than in receiving. That is the nature of the human soul. May you touch a new milestone each day.

Having seen WithAarya from a close distance, I have come to see the good work that goes on for the well-being of the caregivers. The caregivers of chronic patients are often neglected and suffer due to the stress and outside food. The hygienic, home-cooked, wholesome meal provided by WithAarya, along with fruit, is a boon.
