FYI, on 13 May, Columbia Gas filed a civil suit in The Court of Common Pleas, of Center County.

Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania, Inc. v. State College Borough, PA, and Borough Manager Thomas J. Fountaine II (solely in his capacity as Borough Manager).  Centre County No. 2013-1800

Our solicitor has requested the concerned parties refrain from commenting on the ongoing litigation, however the Borough has/or is planning to release a press release with this information.

Note:  this is not actually about the Prospect Avenue route, Penn State, or the Borough; it is very much about maintaining the Utilities "rights" under the present laws.

The HCA will continue to monitor these developments, and to work to protect our homes, schools, religious institutions both here in the Highlands and throughout the Borough.
