Hello all,

We are getting close to putting the finishing touch on promotional material and layout for our 30^th Anniversary Spring Creek Festival. This is your second invitation to participate. If your organization plans to be part of the event this year, I really need to hear from you!

We have lots of new things planned, including a demonstration by the State College Radio Controlled Club (flying model airplanes!) and more.

Please join us for a great day at Millbrook Marsh.

Greetings,

ClearWater Conservancy would like to invite you and your organization to be an exhibitor at the 30^th Annual Spring Creek Family Festival and 5K. This is a free opportunity to meet people in the community, network with others from outdoor and environmental organizations and spread the word about your mission and projects.

This year’s Spring Creek Family Festival will take place at Millbrook Marsh Nature Center in State College Saturday, June 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will offer food, music, hands-on activities and fun environmental information sessions to guests of all ages! The day will kick off with the 5K at 8:30 a.m., the festival will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this year.

Our partner exhibitors play a huge part in the success of the festival. The awareness that you spread about the environment and outdoors are some of the most valuable things people take away from the event.

This year, we are again working hard to incorporate hands-on activities for adults and children. Augmenting static informational displays with learning activities and creative education was met with a lot of smiles from our 700 attendees. Let’s keep up that trend and feel free to get creative or call to brainstorm ideas!

To participate, please fill out the attached registration form (Word and PDF) and email it to ch...@clearwaterconservancy.org by Friday, April 26 to be included in the event brochure and other advance publicity. This event will take place rain or shine!

Prior to the event I will be sending out promotional materials you can use to help get folks out to see us June 1. Please pitch in and send a few out to your friends and members.
