Quality Frame Construction...Our frames are all made from heavy gauge factory welded aluminum. They are then painted and baked a very similar color to what the synthetic wicker will be. The baking creates a very hard exterior on the paint & makes it very chip resistant. This is a must for better quality products. Our Rocker Runners are also all aluminum.

Our Synthetic Wicker... is HDPE--high density polyethylene. This is a better grade of synthetic wicker. You can google it & read about it. The wicker is hand woven & hand tied over each & every furniture frame. Each rocker is very much the same, but being hand woven (and we have lots of weavers) each one has it`s own personality. That is part of the beauty of wicker products. They are hand made.

Our Fabrics...our rockers come with your choice of over 40 different Spun Polyester Fabrics. If you are in a sunny area we offer lots different Sunbrella Fabrics. They cost a little more $ per yard, but are really worth it for sunny areas. Sunbrella dyes each & every thread of fabric in a " dyed solution" process' BEFORE they weave it into yards. This allows for extra fade, mildew & stain resistance. Spun polyester fabrics are very good for indoor or covered outdoor areas. They will fade in sunlight. Their color application process is to put the color on top of the fabric. It is a called a "silk screening process". It is applied to the top side of the fabric.

Construction...Our Indoor Rattan Rocking Chairs are made the right way. We use strong broom handle size rattan poles to make the frames & then smaller textures of wicker are woven over the frames to create beautiful designs. When there is weaving you can call these Rockers Wicker Rocking Chairs.

Fabrics & Cushions....Select from a really nice selection of Spun Polyester Fabrics. We offer about 40 different ones. If your room is very sunny & you wish to have your cushions made from Sunbrella Fabrics we have a large selection. Our cushions are quality American Made Cushions.

Factory made...there is no assembly required. All of the carpentry, weaving and making is done at the factory. The only thing you have to do is...the rocker runners pop onto the bottom of each leg. The you must screw gun one screw--included--into the bottom of each leg to hold the runners on. We could do it here, but because the rockers stick out in the front & back they can be easily damaged by the delivering truckers.

Lloyd Loom wicker has been manufactured since 1916, and the process was patented in 1917. Rather than weaving cane by hand, this unique wicker method is made in a loom and produces long thirty-nine-inch wide continuous rolls of wicker fabric.

The process starts with a unique fiber paper, twisting the paper and adding a special glue. The long twisted paper is formed into a cord and wound onto spools. Many cord spools are fed into a loom to be woven together.

During the weaving process, aluminum reinforcement wires are inserted to add strength to the continuous sheet of wicker fabric. The sheets of woven wicker fabric are submerged in a silicon bath to seal the cord.

The metal frames are fashioned using aluminum tubing (and, for some products, stainless steel), eliminating the worry about rust and an early deterioration of the frames. The tubes are cut and formed into the appropriate shapes for each product.

Choice use of frame material and the specialized loom wicker process results in a very desirable product that offers longer life and less maintenance for the homeowner compared to other casual furniture on the market.

Lloyd Flanders premium Comfort Plush cushioning is constructed from multiple layers. An SMS surface layer consists of spun-bond fabric that sandwiches an inner layer of melt-blown fabric attached to a 100% polyester wrap. The polyester wrap is attached on its opposite side to the center BioComfort Foam. The quantity and quality of these select materials and the way they are layered ensure one of the most comfortable cushions made.

The BioComfort foam is a 1.8 density high resilience California fire-rated foam. It is formulated to include soy-based products. This reduces the amount of oil-based products required to make the cushions. Each cushion is hydrophobic (drains and dries more easily).
