On Saturday, November 14, 2009 at approximately 10:42 pm officers
responded to a shooting at the intersection of Joliet and Cohn. Upon
arrival officers discovered the victim lying in the grass at the
intersection suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body. EMS
arrived on the scene to render aid and learned the victim was
deceased.
The New Orleans Police Department Homicide Division conducted an
investigation and was able to identify the suspect responsible for the
offense. Subsequently, Detectives arrested Kevin Franklin, black male,
10-10-1991, who was arrested and charged with the offense.
