Homicide by Shooting in the 5300 Block of Constance

On Thursday, November 12, 2009 at approximately 2:10 pm officers were
dispatched to a shooting in the 5300 block of Constance Street. Upon
arrival the officers observed the victim seated in his vehicle with
two gunshot wounds to his body. An EMS unit arrived on the scene to
render aid at which time it was learned the victim was deceased.
Several spent casing were recovered from the scene. Detectives
assigned to the New Orleans Police Department Homicide Division are
investigating the
incident.
