Car Jacking - South rocheblave and Tulane Avenue

On Tuesday, August 10, 2010, at approximately 5:13 AM, police
responded to a car jacking, at South Rocheblave and Tulane Avenue. The
police met with the victim at the aforementioned who stated at around
5:00 AM, he drove his white, 2008 Dodge Charger in the area of South
Rocheblave and Tulane Avenue after dropping off several friends.

While parked the intersection, the vicitm stated two unknown black
males were standing near a bus stop. One of the subjects asked what
time the bus passed. The victim advised the subject he did not know
the bus schedule. Both of the subjects approached the victim. The
victim described the subjects as:

Perpetrator #1, described as a black male, thin build, between the
ages of 20-30, dark skin, black t-shirt, black and white chef pants,
no facial hair, corn row braided hair style, black crock flip flops,
produced black handgun

Perp # 2, described as a black male, 20-30 years of age, 5'9"-5'10",
slender build,
dread locked hairstyle, multi colored polo shirt, and blue jeans

The victim stated stated Perpetrator #1, approached the driver side
of his vehicle and asked the victim for a ride, at the same time
produced a black handgun from under his shirt. The victim stated
Perpetrator #1 stated " get out and give me everything". The victim
complied and gave Perpetrator # 1 his property, including $63 dollars
in cash. The victim stated Perpetrator # 2 followed behind
Perpetrator #1 but did not say anything. Perpetrator #1 shouted to
Perpetrator #2, "get in". Both subjects fled in the victim's vehicle
towards Gravier Street, then unknown.

Stolen Property:
White 2008 Dodge Charger, unknown license plate, $63.00 cash (3 twenty
dollar bills, 3
one dollar bills), 1 Chase debit card, 1 Woodforest National Bank
debit card, 1 Blackberry cell phone, 1 black wallet (Bob Marley), 1
La. issued identification card.

This investigation is ongoing.
