Aggravated Battery (Domestic) - Suspect Arrested - 08-06-2010

On Friday, August 6th, 2010 at around 11:30 P.M., the victim and her
boyfriend, Leonard Sanders (B/M 06-05-1985), became involved in an
altercation at their home in the 500 block of South Hennessey Street,
during which he punched her in the right eye as she tried to leave.
The victim's 7 year-old son picked up and threw rocks at Mr. Sanders
to stop him from hitting his mother, but he picked up one of the rocks
and threw it back at him, striking him in the head, causing a minor
laceration. Mr. Sanders then fled the scene, but was later
apprehended, arrested and charged in the above offense.
