Aggravated Assault (Domestic) - 08-15-2010 - Suspect Arrested

On Sunday, August 15th, 2010 at around 12:00 A.M., the victim and her
boyfriend, Tajh Percy (B/M 04-16-1978), became involved in an
altercation at their home in the 4400 block of Jeanne Marie Place,
when he grabbed her by the throat and forced her to the floor of their
bedroom. As the two struggled on the floor, he grabbed a Mossberg 12
gauge shotgun from under the bed and pointed it at her, racking a live
round into the chamber. The victim tried to push the shotgun away,
but he kept pointing it back at her. Mr. Percy then apologized for
his actions, the two talked, and Mr. Percy unloaded the shotgun and
gave it to the victim. The victim retrieved her cell phone and ran
with it and the shotgun into the bathroom to try to call the police.
Mr. Percy then kicked open the bathroom door, took her cell phone,
grabbed her by the hair and forced her out of the bathroom. The two
argued once more and the victim convinced Mr. Percy to let her outside
to smoke, at which time she used a neighbor's cell phone to call the
police. Responding Officers apprehended and arrested Mr. Percy, who
was charged in the above offense.
