On Wednesday, November 4th, 2009 at around 4:00 P.M., Third District
Officers executed a search warrant at a home in the 3200 block of
Desaix Boulevard, where they located an air conditioning unit
installed at the location, which was reported stolen on Thursday,
August 13th, 2009 from Jefferson Parish. The home's occupant, Carl
Windmon (B/M 04-24-1978), admitted to the officers that he bought the
unit from an unknown person off the street for $300. Mr. Windmon was
arrested and charged in the above offense.
