Now I did not see this and so hopefully someone that did will chime
in, but today on the goat road, or on the approach to the goat road
(i.e., Portola on the way to 84) there were a couple of out of control
horses that may or may not have been provoked by the fact that we were
riding by. It seems that one of the riders was thrown and dragged for
some distance. So while I don't believe that we were at fault (but
again, I didn't see this happen) there's sure to be some blowback from
the local community in the near future. Be careful around there.

Matt, this was on the way to OLH so your plan to crush us everyday has
already backfired.

Yeah the 2 women were trapped on two totally out of control horses
that would not stop. They were screaming at the horses to stop (But
they may have been screaming at us).
The horses were going faster than us at one point and I think the pack
had a moment of "should we stop" but the horses looked like they we
going to stampede us and I think the group mindset was "lets get outta
here".

Last I saw of them one of the horses was in the street in front of OLH
sans rider. Scary

Thanks to the few guys who did stop. I'm sure they will totally blame
us but I have no idea how this could be our fault. Those horsies
weren't ready for prime time.
