In order to finely tune a rear suspension, it needs a structure thatโ€™s optimized for efficiency, ride quality, and reliability. Niner has designed its CVA (Constantly Varying Arc) suspension specifically for 29ers โ€” nothing else. Then they spent hundreds of hours of designing a chassis that supports CVA for optimum performance. The result is not just a feathery, carbon monocoque structure; itโ€™s also incredibly eye-pleasing. Niner engineers used the latest in computer modeling to explore every conceivable option before moving onto physical prototype testing. Then, using both in-house and independent testing facilities, Niner accumulated hours and hours of fatigue testing before placing the protos under their highly skilled, enthusiastic, and abusive riders.
