Hi all,

I want our efforts to be more organized and concentrated so I am starting a email list.

All of you expressed interest in helping make this happen.
Please tell all your friends. I know the lecture will be some knowledge and wisdom that will benefit some for life. For others it will be a good lesson in Hip Hop.

If you know of others who are interested in helping, let me know and I will add them.

Here is where we are at currently:
1. KRS and his crew will be coming through approximately the first week in April
    -KRS wants to do a lecture and a show (the lecture is more important to him)

2. LECTURE:
    -$1000 donated from CLA (College of Liberal Arts) for the lecture
    -Dr. Reason who is the instructor of MUS 108, Hip Hop Appreciation has hooked this up
-Location:
    -I was thinking MU East International Forum. This will cost money. Dr. Reason says that getting a regular classroom lecture hall would be free.

Dr. Reason, can you look into this more? Maybe the Milam lecture hall? Or WNGR 151.

3. SHOW:
    -Location: Impulse
        -Currently talking to owners
    -I think this would be a good venue because:
        -real intimate and close up setting for KRS to get down
        -the crowd that normally goes there should see what a real MC is like
 
Please, your comments/ideas on this are welcomed

4. Nicole - I know you are involved with KBVR TV.

Would you be willing to coordinate taping the lecture and/or possibly the show? The lecture has priority.

5. Mohammed - you reached out earlier and said you are affiliated with a couple organizations that may be able to help with funding. What do you need in order to go further with that?
