Hello, Everyone!

I hope you all are having a good fall.  Isn't it nice to have a little rain now and then with a some moments of beautiful sunshine as well?  It definitely seems that autumn is here to stay.

With that in mind, I'd like to remind everyone about our coffee clubs.  Warm up every Tuesday afternoon from 2:30 to 3:30 in the MU 25+ Lounge with a good cup of coffee or tea (provided by NTSC) and get to know fellow non-traditional students better!

This week was supposed to be our pumpkin painting party to celebrate Halloween!  I had this brilliant idea to move the day from Thursday evening to Saturday so that you all would be able to bring your families/significant others along.  So I went online to reserve us a space.  I'm thinking I was too honest about what we would be doing, because they denied my request due to the fact that we want to have paint.  I even promised to cover the tables in newspaper.  Still a no-go.  So unless someone knows of another space where we might be able to have our event, this week's social meet up is cancelled.  

Don't worry, though!  We'll get back into the swing of things on November 1st with our second annual Scholarship Treasure Hunt!  Finding and applying to scholarships can be tedious.  Not to mention, it's easy to miss things.  Some come join your fellow non-trads hunt down some awesome free cash from 6:30 to 8pm in Weniger 285.  Chit chat and make friends while getting yourself organized.
