2012 Homeschool application process

Hello Everyone,   I have a bunch of questions about the application process. I may not have looked through this group's forum thoroughly enough, so if the answers are already there, could someone direct me to them?   1. Is the deadline in March this year?   2. I heard there is a sample application that we can refer to; where can I find that?   3. After sending the application in, what other steps need to be taken? (interviews, home visits, etc...) We are planning on returning to the States in May and are wondering if we should postpone our trip to accommodate the application process.   Ok, that's all for now.   Thank you to anyone who has this information!   :) Lillian

Deadline is May 31, 2012 countrywide.

Don't recommend using the template as "it" has been copies one too many time. You can get the basic info required from your education bureau's website. Just ask one of the seasoned applicant to review your application before submission.

Your district school is likely to have a go with you around the first half of June. The education bureau may ask you in the second half of June. If you plan to be out of the country, let the education bureau knows and have one of the parents standing by in Taiwan available for questioning. If not, make sure whatever you plan to do in the States sounds like part of your home education on the proposal.
