Hi! I have tried to search for this version of dragon quest V but I can't, every website that I have visited that has the version 1.1.1 is actually 1.1.0 or 1.0.3, I actually downloaded both version 1.0.3 and 1.1.0 but I seem to have a problem on both versions, at 1.0.3 there are a lot of stuttering when exploring and zooming at other towns and also It does not fit on my phone, the 1.1.0 fixed all the stutters but I have another problem, the part where you're gonna go to the cave and get the zenithian sword there's like a stepping stone puzzle and whenever I step a single rock It freezes and eventually crash, I don't have that problem on 1.0.3 so I'm wondering If the version 1.1.1 can fix the problem. Thank you :D
Players coming to the game will be involved in a great adventure with a lot of exciting things waiting for players to discover. Players will be able to travel through many lands with different characteristics to complete the purpose. The game also has a colossal quest system that players can play. By performing missions, the player also gets closer and closer to the goal and uncovers the mystery of the game. Also, when you are on a mission, the player can explore the world that the game brings to the player. Please stop for a moment to enjoy the elaborate image that the game has brought for players to experience. Although not the latest graphics but only the things of the last century, the game still has unique and worth you experiencing.
I have a request for you. Whether you're new or have followed Hero's Hour for a long time, please come join the Hero's Hour discord - I've recently added a Custom Maps channel, where you can find custom maps that others have made, or share your own. Seeing the creativity people have had with the earlier, very limited node map editor has been a treat. Any feedback as to custom map editor features etc. is also super duper welcome.
Throughout the game, many special items called knick-knacks may be collected by the player. These items can be displayed in a special museum; NPCs will be attracted to the museum once it has exhibits. The museum curator sometimes offers gold in exchange for the special product exhibits. Some special products will be upgraded by certain plot events. Knick-knacks are unrelated to the overall plot of the game and exist only as a sidequest.
Afterward, the Hero will travel to the western continent, where he will meet up with Saber once more, and travel to the town of Mostroferrato, where the wealthy nobleman Mr. Briscoletti and his daughters Nera and Debora live. He sends the hero on a quest to retrieve two magic rings of fire and water as a test of his worthiness as a suitor for Nera. The Hero is able to accomplish this task only with the aid of Bianca, who he meets in a nearby village. Afterwards, Mr. Briscoletti offers the Hero the chance to marry Nera, but it is also possible for him to marry Bianca or, more surprisingly, Debora instead. Harry and Maria are also wed at this time.
The quest takes the Hero and his party to many exotic locations, such as a faerie village, a palace made of ice, several caves, and a volcano. The party eventually makes its way to the castle Zenithia, which is a castle in each game of the Zenithia trilogy. Like a few other Dragon Quest games, the final enemies reside in a dark world, separate from the main map.
Additionally, the Japanese version features a promotional campaign that allows players to register other DQ products in return for items and equipment not previously featured in V, such as the gigant armour and dragon robe. No word as of yet if this will be made available after the promotion ends.
Your village is in danger. A giant dragon threatens to destroy her! Find an alchemist who will help you to become a giant to fight the dragon. You send in search of the key elements that need to kill the dragon.
Version 1.1.1 fixes an issue where players were unable to clear the main quest "The Closed Door" even if all the conditions were met. This update should resolve this issue. Along with this, "several issues" have also been addressed to improve the overall gameplay experience.
In case anyone forgot, "The Closed Door" is the tutorial quest where you have to open the temple door using the power obtained from clearing the first three shrines. If you're past this point, then you don't need to worry about having run into this.
But even before I actually managed to get something, I shot that dragon a few times and arrows still went right through the foot/claw with no indication I hit it. They just clipped right through the geometry.
These sorts of meta-narratives always run a danger of becoming too recursive for their own good, and I feel you fell afoul of that here. The answers to the questions raised about the characters' purposes and lives felt... frankly childish, to be totally honest? The demon lord's ennui is solved by just deciding friends are important? The damsel in distress beats destiny by... shouting at it really hard? The hero's hatred of their role is solved by them deciding "What I do is meaningful," followed by... them not doing anything different than before. There is no true meta-analysis of the cultural purpose stories, and especially these mythic archetypes, serve.
Why is there a demon lord? What is he actually doing? Why do we equate princesses with reward? What is she the princess of? Why was this the story of the first Dragon Quest, and why do we keep telling some variation on it? These are the questions the story should have answered, but it didn't.
