Having a problem with a Canon ir5075 and color network scangear. I've loaded it on my Win 10 laptop and it detects by IP and scans fine. I set it up on a desktop with a fresh Win 10 install and it works fine. On the rest of the workstations. it can't find by IP but it will search and find it and list the same IP I just told it to use. When you select it, it errors on the test. On the two that are working, I installed Color Network ScanGear 2 v2.20. I've tried that version as well as the other versions under the utilities section with the same failed result. I've disabled antivirus and the windows firewall to test. I've also made sure to uninstall each version in programs and features as well as delete it in device manager before reinstalling. The switch they are plugged into has no VLANs set up.

Color Network ScanGear is a 32-bit TWAIN-compliant scanner driver that enables computers on a network to use a Canon iR series color digital copier as a scanner.
This software is installed together with the Network ScanGear and enables the user to select the device name of the scanner on the network.

New PC on network (both XP Pro) - installed same software as old one (which had no issues connecting to scanner on IR 3220) - Adobe Acrobat 6.0 and ScanGear 1.5. Also tried version 1.51. Scangear tool cannot discover printer / scanner - tried entering printer IP directly, still no luck. Both 1.5 and 1.51 show up as choices in the Acrobat Devices list, however I get an error message that says ''no scanner was selected for scanning, select one using the scangear tool''. As an aside, the Canon EFI Job Monitor also cannot '''see'' the printer via IP.
