SOLR security?

Hello,

How are you protecting SOLR?

We are running archivesspace v3.4.1 with SOLR 8.11.2 installed alongside (rather than a completely separate server).

When I create a security.json file, the authentication works with SOLR, but the security panel still says security is not configured.  It completely blocks access to archivesspace.  Adding the authorization plugin breaks everything.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Well I set up some iptables rules to protect port 8983 but this is not ideal, I don't think.
