The data files for Omnisphere, Keyscape, and Trilian are stored in the same STEAM folder. When you update your patches or soundsources, you are updating files in your STEAM folder, which was created when you originally installed Omnisphere, Keyscape, and/or Trilian. The data files for Stylus RMX are stored in the SAGE folder which is seperate from the STEAM folder.

You may find STEAM and/or SAGE folders inside installation or update folders, however those folders are not used to operate your instruments and are only used by the installer. The STEAM and/or SAGE folder that is used to operate your instruments are installed in the Spectrasonics folder at the locations above.

Note: Inside your Spectrasonics folder you will either find the STEAM and/or SAGE folder that is currently being utilized by the instrument(s), or an alias (Mac)/shortcut (PC) that when double-clicked, will lead you to the STEAM/ SAGE folder.

So basically I need to install this steam file, someone said on a forum to (and I quote) : " Both the steam folder as well as the link to the steam folder (in programdata\spectrasonics) must have full access rights (must be made in the folder settings are changed, right click properties). After these settings are changed, OMNI 2 on the folders and the data access. Hope that helps, I hope this helps. "

To anyone who still have a problem, just follow the video guideline, step by step. You should be able to successfully install omnisphere 2.0. Don't forget to patch as shown in the video before you generate the registration code.

Once you pasted the registration code in and activate, it might crash omnisphere or the DAW. But keep trying. For me, it did crash. But when I reopen my DAW, I can use omnisphere just fine. The Omnisphere, however, will show the version of 2.0

I recommend putting your downloaded crack in drive :D or any other drive; then install everything as default (drive :C), as well as the STEAM folder. It will make the updater more convenient. Also, if you think you messed up, you can search omnisphere in "This PC" and delete everything with omnisphere name in :C drive. Easy clean up.

In order to get the 2.8.5d version, Go to the 2.8.5d updater, click update it should direct by default like your previous installation (omnisphere 2.0). Try to remember the location of the file during the installation. After the update, Omnisphere will ask for registration code again, no worry. Next to the 2.85d updater there should be a file called Moria. That's the cracked vst version. Copy the Moria .dll file and replace it with where the file you updated recently may be. Dll file should stay in vst folder, vst3 should stay in vst folder. Replace that and your omnisphere updated to 2.8.5d with all functioning sound.

I can load Ominsphere on my Windows 10 computer just fine and hear notes via MIDI, but I would like to use the sounds in a piano roll in Fl Studio, which is my DAW of choice.
I'm hearing that I have to install Omnisphere like a plugin by locating it in the Steam folder, which I found, but when I scan the Steam folder for plugins, nothing related to Omnisphere is found.

The Steam folder contains all the samples and other support data for Omnisphere. When you install Omnisphere, you should also have installed any au,vsti or aaxi plugins that came with it. They will be getting installed in the usual place on your machine. Once you have done that, restart FL-Studio and you should be able to access it as a vsti in the normal way.

Please note: This video was created on a Mac (OS X 10.8.5) designed to mainly assist Mac OS X 10.7 (and higher) users with locating their 'hidden' Users - Library folder. The video and guide then goes through where to place the additional patches so they are detected in Omnisphere.

Windows PC users can still follow this video to see where to place your additional patches. However you will just need to ensure you have located your Spectrasonics folder and then follow the guide / video from here or please view below.

Please note - The Unfinished libraries contain 'Patches' presets and 'Multis' presets. Please ensure you place the PATCHES into this Patches folder and then go back to the 'Omnisphere' 'Settings Library' window to locate your 'Multis' folder. Then just create a new folder in here called 'The Unfinished' and drag&drop the additional MULTIS into this folder. This stage is not covered in the video.
