I had that Clean Drive notice pop up this morning and thought it was weird malware, thanks for the heads up that it came w/ Parallels - just installed for the first time last week. I couldn't find the developer site, but page 30 of the Parallels User Guide gives more info (although not a ton) about the types of files Clean Drive deletes: _US/Parallels%20Toolbox%20User
I'm also suspicious about how it identifies items to delete. It suggested I clean up 2.6 GB of "Old updates" and 2.3 GD of "iOS device backups" but this is brand new, week old laptop that I haven't updated anything on yet. To my knowledge, my update settings are all manual and it wasn't restored from any backups that might have contained old update data. The only backup I've put on it is one iPad update a few days ago, so keep in mind it could be flagging all iOS backups to delete and you might be losing recent iOS backups and updates if you leave those two boxes checked.
During surfing on the forum, I found there are document talking about set up automatic tape cleaning in NetBackup Enterprise Server. It mentions that the default behavior is for NetBackup to automatically load the cleaning tape into a tape drive when the tape drive identifies itself as needing cleaning. I would like to ask how can I check/change this setting?

If you partition a drive, you tell the hardddisk hey, NVM the data you have on you, rebuild the block whatever way you partition it again. The data is still there but the regular OS can not see it anymore. Forensic tools can easily restore that data.
reusing the drive immediately. clean, quick format, whatever. once you start the new image, the data is overwritten. you MAY be able to get some back forensically, but for all intensive purposes its gone
paranoid? then use the tools recommended for security wiping. note the free ones will only do one pass, you will probably need to pay for a utility that will guarantee to whatever security specs (2 or more passes)
Still not convinced? Your local e-recycling company will probably have a shredder on-site. Mine allows me to witness the shredding and pays me 25 cents per pound for the remains. Without shredding they pay 50 cents per pound. A typical 3.5" spinning rust drive weighs about 1 pound.
When you choose reset your PC you will have the options to "Fully clean the drive" or "Just remove my files". By picking "Fully clean my drive" it will take several hours and it will attempt to overwrite anything on the drive with zeroes, so yes it will. You have to remember there are some companies capable of restoring data from your disk but this will make it a lot harder than a quick format.
If the volume is encrypted with BitLocker, only a quick format is performed, as that wipes all of the information necessary to decrypt the disk. With no way to decrypt the disk, the data is effectively lost.
Note that this procedure will take much longer than the quick format. It could take hours on a large hard drive. This is not something that you would want to do live with a customer. It would be better to start it and arrange a follow-up later.
With friction drive belts there is no positive engagement with the driving pulley. The pulley transfers the drive force from the motor to the belt, while friction between the pulley and the belt surface ensures power transmission.
Filerev will help you locate and remove duplicate files in your Google Drive account. You can easily remove the duplicates in your account by individually selecting duplicate files, selecting all files on a page or using the Bulk Delete Tool for the entire category.
The Bulk Delete Tool makes it easy to clean up Google Drive with a simple click. No need to select files one by one as you can easily select all. Duplicate files can also be removed by automatically selecting the oldest or newest duplicate files.
Surprisingly, files can consume storage space but not exist in a folder. The only way to find these files in Google Drive is to search for the exact name. Filerev shows all of these hidden files in one place so you can choose to delete them or move them back into a folder.
If you have multiple drives and shared drives in Google Drive, you can scan them all. Before your scan starts, you will have the option to choose a specific shared drive to scan or any combination of shared drives and My Drive. This allows you to drill into the specific files you are interested in even if those files exist across multiple drives.
We care about the privacy of your data and are committed to protecting it. Everything is transferred over a secure SSL connection, and we encrypt any account information that we store. We also have regular security audits from a neutral third party. Our motivation is to help you organize Google Drive; we will not use your information for anything other than that. You can read more about this in our Privacy Policy, and our is Filerev safe post.
Filerev shows your Google Drive files organized by file type categories. Would you like to see only the documents in your account? Or maybe just the images? You can even drill down to more specific file types such as PDF, Excel, JPG, etc.
A graphical disk usage analyzer for Google Drive that provides a visual representation of your storage usage. You can quickly identify and browse the largest files and folders by size, helping to understand where your storage space is being used.
After storing my files online for many years, my drive account was starting to look like it was owned by a pack rat. I knew it was time for a change. When I went to find my old files or even the files that were consuming all of my storage space, I found there was nothing to help me do it. Enter the creation of Filerev.
The Drive Clean Indiana works with vehicle fleets, fuel providers, community leaders, and other stakeholders to identify community-driven choices that save energy and promote the use of alternative fuels and advanced vehicle technologies in transportation.
the top idler sprocket on the clean grain elevator drive chain keeps peeling away from the housing. its a fixed idler on a hex shaft welded to the elevator housing. the grain chain itself isnt too bad. its a 1660 combine.
i think what i need to do is weld a 1" bolt thru a 1/4" steel plate and use that for the shaft, weld gussets onto the bolt, then bolt the plate onto the elevator housing. hopefully it will hold over the 200 ac i have left.
Make sure the chain is running to the front of the idler. He said he has seen many rerouted after a chain replacement. It is easy to run chain on the rear side of top idler which puts too much strain on idler.
