Hi

Can some one from the org committee answer these questions?

1) Do you have dates or place for a conference?

2) If yes, which are these and which are the venues?

Some of us have travel plans and would like to schedule them based on
these info. A quick upfront answer is appreciated

It was mentioned in the call for talks that the event will be on 11/12th or
18/19th December

We can only confirm once we have the venue.

No, you didn't! You wanted to know if the conference has been called off.

And have since been going around attacking people who are doing most of the
work to make the event happen.

And also you have been using this list and even the conf. website mainly to
discuss other events.

The rest of us are more interested in noname.conf and don't want to waste our
time feeding trolls, who unfortunately seem to be all over the place.

What about the venues? As a potential delegate I feel that this must
be discussed in an open list so others can add value make suggestions
etc. That's why we have a discussion list. While your idea of voting
on ideas on the web site is interesting, I think it lacks the power of
a mailing list. If at least we are aware of the names being discussed,
there can be more suggestions around.
