Hello, all:

Here is a draft Jason and I came up with.  Please pay particular attention to the draft for 5/19's 99% Meet-up.  We are up to 540 now mid-day Tue 5/8, so the meet-up will be the biggest national gathering of occupy activists to date I believe.

For public and press relations, we will need:
1. our own volunteers to field media calls besides our union partners' and CANG8 PR people, your individual phone number and email (we will be using 99solidarity email as the general account, but good to have your individual email as back-up)
2. volunteers with bio available for interviews from now on.

99Solidarity Chicago Bus Trip

After a successful May Day,  99Solidarity.com is teaming up with
Occupy Wall Street activists as well as CANG8, NNU and over 100
environmental, labor and health groups  from more than a dozen cities,
in a call for a Just and Fair Society against militarism for better
budget priorities. The schedule for the weekend will be as follows:

May 18 The People's G8 Rally & March
May 19 99% Meetup
May 20 CANG8 Rally & March

May 18 People's G8: Rally & March

The march culminates in a rally where 'Robinhood' and the nurses will
scour the brush and trees for the absent G-8 world leaders – hidden in
the woods of Maryland. What will they do to help average families, not
banks and Wall Street, in the midst of continuing economic gloom?
Robin has an answer.

A Robin Hood Tax is an affordable tax on Wall Street trades on stocks,
bonds, derivatives and other financial instruments to raise revenue
without delay and address the unwarranted pain of U.S. and global
austerity measures while those who caused the 2008 economic collapse
continue to profit. Grammy award winning musician Tom Morello, The
Nightwatchman, will join the festivities, at Daley Plaza.

March: 11 a.m., begins at Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers, 301 East
North Water St.
Rally: 12:15 p.m., Daley Plaza, Randolph at Dearborn
Join in a legal, permitted,
family-friendly march and rally!

May 19: 99% Meetup

This will be one of the first times that occupy wall street activists fighting for the 99% from over a dozen cities Coast to Coast getting together in person.  We will share experiences, stories, ideas and strategies, and plan for future actions.

Voluntarily participated discussions will bring togather like-minded 99%ers.  Opening call for agenda has started on 99solidarity.com.  Potential topics include
- how to continue to engage the 99% in dialogue and actions for a more just and fairer society
- how to embrace broad alliances and building a big tent for a more just and fairer society beyond the current Occupy movement network
- how to foster national organizations and networks that are more effective, inclusive, and transformative
- how to transform our meeting based movement with small protest-centric actions into longer term campaigns and training based-movement with street actions and disciplined nonviolence; potential major nationally coordinated actions
- how to evolve our Occupy Wall Street Declaration, Statement of Solidarity into a living document and to pursue the goal of our original call formulating our demands
- Planning for Anti-NATO demonstrations

May 20: CANG8: Rally & March

At the invitation of the White House, military and civilian
representatives of the 28-nation US-commanded and largely US-financed
North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) are meeting in Chicago, May
20-21, 2012.

Anti-militarism, budget re-prioritization.
Serve Human Needs, Not corporate greed.
Healthcare, Education, Housing, Food, not Wars

Noon Rally at Petrillo Bandshell (corner of Columbus and Jackson), then March down to McCormick Place.

This is a rough draft.  Needs editing.

- For press to cover the bus trip, we can cut a lot out and include a couple of quotes from Occupiers who are coming on the buses and why they plan to attend.

- If we are trying to increase numbers by having the press report, the details of each event are far less important than a way for people who want to know more to be in touch to get the info.

- for Occupy's website, we can include detailed announcement accompanied by a call for Meet-up proposals and ideas.
