Hello Han, Matt:
OWS has certainly experienced many situations of violence and confrontation with police and other security forces. We are working on large coordinated efforts in Chicago in mid-to-late May. Some of the core organizers have gone through training at OWS DA NV trainings and during 99% Spring , mostly short and rudimentary training; and most of us have first hand experiences before and during OWS in nonviolent action. We are looking particularly for tactical aspects of nonviolent training for trainers to enhance NV internal capacity, especially for the upcoming anti-NATO internationally coordinated action in Chicago. Would Rukus Society be a good resource for that?
