Curiosity : Used language

Hi there,

I just have a curiosity. I see that Nomulus is developed using Java.

I was thinking, since it's a Google product, why Java and not Golang, for example? which also developed by Google

As I see today , must of "networking"/infrastructure tools are being developed with Golang..

Just a curiosity
