Pitboss wins Round 8

With the passage of (Referendum) {Proposal 7020} on Turn 8-10, and the
failure to overturn it within a turn, {Case 6010} is found to be
true--that a game paradox exists due to an unresolvable game state as
a result of retroactive actions. Pitboss submitted the RFJ
and is also the only player to take retroactive actions, and is
therefore the winner of Round 8 of Nomicron per {Rule 211}.

Heh. I've only just got my broadband up and running and I return to
find the game finished. I'm somewhat relieved not to have all the
catching up to do (though I suspect I'll skim through the game's
events at some point).

I'm not especially surprised to find it finished as a result of the
retroactive shenanigins that were just taking place as I lost my
connection.

I think I'd like to set my status to "observer" as I shall be handling
the probate for my father's will this month and do not yet know how
much work that will involve. But I shall be interested to see how the
next round plays out.
