Forgive me if I'm pushing things kind of quickly, but I just started
getting into this round with ideas. I have a few things I want to
address.

1. The round ending paradox. I can't really think of an easy safety
net rule to cover this in the future, but I'm still thinking. Even if
it doesn't resolve such things intuitively by default, it's better
than the round just ending.

2. Temperature. A slow changing mechanism that has long lasting
effects, especially related to punishments for not submitting
proposals, isn't all that fun looking back. I could have just
submitted junk proposals each turn since failed proposals had no
penalty, but it's easier if we just don't do it again. Any
objections?

3. Other subgame things. Population could have been interesting, but
there was no real limit on how much housing someone could build or
destroy at one time. Also, points were spent to do such actions. I
think in the future we should avoid tying such things directly to
points.

I really think rune stacks had some potential. I wouldn't mind
starting another round with a similar theme. Perhaps a "Nomicron: The
Gathering" round where we all take on the role of wizards dueling it
out in a last-man-standing fight.

I like that idea, but it sounds like the round 8 Necronomicron. I
remember there was an idea for this round to be a sequel to round 8.
So I think if we do a magic round it should be Necronomicron 2.

Personally I'd prefer a less dark and more elemental theme. Maybe a
title like Maginomicron: War of the Runes.

Agreed. I'd personally like some kind of option to use a motion to
change the state of the game back to non-paradoxical without taking
away the bragging rights of the winners.
