A colleague sent me an email today that somehow (it was totally
unrelated) reminded me of an afternoon where I had discovered the
nomic entry on wikipedia several months ago. This email led me on a
search, and somehow (not quite directly) to here, and I'd like to join
your game. (:

Reading through a couple of the recent messages makes it seem like the
game may have just ended. :|

How do things typically restart around here? Will I be able to play?

Hello and welcome... you are correct that we have just ended Round 7
of Nomicron. What happens normally at this point is we enter a
Convention to plan for the next round. Looney has presented a motion
to vote on to bring the game back to a playable state. Once that has
passed (and I assume it will), we can add you as a player by passing
another motion to do so. I will submit that motion when the other one
is done... you just need to choose a player name.

Sweet. I look forward to being activated.

I think I'd like to use '_hrrld' as my player name. It's pronounced
like 'Harold' which happens to be my real name. If some link in the
nomic chain doesn't like underscores, or names with no vowels, then
'Harold' would be my second choice.
