IMO, having been a past Samsung user, the best place to search right version for your device is XDA forums. Above answer cites a thread for a particular device. LATEST ODIN v3.09 & ODIN 1.85 & ALLODIN MULTI DOWNLOADER VERSIONSROM Flashing Tools for ALL Samsung smartphones lists out various versions of Odin / download links and compatibility with various devices, with the disclaimer that these ... might not be 100% accurate. Per this your device needs ODIN Multi Downloader v4.42. Another source What Odin Version You Need For Your Phone corroborates

Another point to note is that tutorials on web showing how to use Odin , need to be correlated with version of Odin depicted and the one you are using, since buttons on tool changed. Here is one such guide ( I don't recall which Odin I used last so can't vouch for guide correctness). You may like to Google for more

I have heard many times that the Version 4 of ODIN, was mainly used for Tablets in house. I've ALWAYS used some Version of 3 for all my flashing. And I've almost exclusively used Samsung Devices since the Captivate. I've Never used Version 4 of ODIN for my mobile phones. Never used it period actually.

From what I know at this moment, the change from Odin 1.87 to 3.07 to 3.10.x to 3.12.x to 3.13.x, is because of certain compression used in the filesystem images contained on some different devices. Or in the case of v1.87 to 3.07 was because we moved from RFS to EXT4 from what I remember.

I am not sure what changed from 3.07 to 3.10.x to 3.12.x yet. I've been looking into this for like 3 days now. I do know that the change to 3.13.x was to support the LZ4 compression used in the firmware images for the Galaxy/Note S8 and S9.

3.) Patched ODIN 3.13.1 (ODIN BR? Based on 3.13.1 lol, but modified to bypass the SHA256 Checksum) Again, I'm not even sure why that checksum needs bypassed or even what bypassing those checksums does for flashing.

Samsung's Download mode is a thing of mystery to most, because those that do know, won't talk about it for some reason. Ever since the Galaxy S6 was released, information on the devices has been SO hush-hush it's ridiculous. Once Chaine Fire quit working on most Samsung devices, most developers left as well. And that left a Void.

It also left in its wake, so many possible root methods Chainfire never even tried. Samsung Android IS NOT GOOGLE ANDROID. The same things do not apply, as we saw with the Xposed Framework. The Android Runtime (ART) needed modified to get Xposed to work on Samsung initially. Samsung changed a lot. So a different method is needed...

So what happened to the lands that they left? Do they no longer have gods?Or like Jesus, are there other versions of Odin/Anansi/Kali in the native lands? Or new ones who formed to take place of the ones that left?

In the appendix to the novel, it's made clear that people carry their gods with them and that when they alight in a new place, those gods are made anew in the image of the old god. There's an Odin in Norway and an Odin (Wednesday) in America at the same time but they're not the same being.

When the gods came to America, they did not leave their original lands. Depending how you look at it, the gods either sent a version of themselves abroad, or they left versions of themselves behind. Originally the two versions were (almost) the same, they may even have remained the same for a while, but over time they diverged.

It was more than a hundred years before Leif the Fortunate, son of Erik the Red, rediscovered that land, which he would call Vineland. His gods were already waiting for him when he arrived: Tyr, one-handed, and gray Odin gallows-god, and Thor of the thunders.

So the gods traveled with their original believers, and stayed in the land they visited even if their believers disappeared (in this case, they were all killed). But once their people stay, and change, then their gods change too.

Hi rakesh I have the s8+ duos, model sm-g955fd with the UAE firmware. Could you tell me which other firmware I can use. You can reply to me by email. My email address is melloh...@gmail.com and I am from Jamaica

Works like a champ. We received 20 S6 devices with version 5.1.1 but in Verizon system it stated they had already upgraded to 7.0 so we could not utilize 4G LTE signal. Found this app and was able to quickly get them going.

I downloaded the firmwire for GT-P3100 from sammobile and tried to flash it through ODIN in different versions (3.12.3, 3.11.2, 3.10.7, 3.09). The result was FAIL for 5/6 times. Finally I used ODIN3 v 1.85. It took one and a half hour but the result was PASS. When the tablet rebooted, the bootloop was still there. I went to recovery mode and the same message in red is still there. I did factory reset and cleared cache and restarted, There is no change. I still get the Touchwiz error, And the bootloop is still there.

Okay, is your device booting normally? I have had the Galaxy Tab GT-5800 in the past and it worked normally despite that issue. It happens when you install a firmware with a different CSC that the one your device belongs to by default.

It boots normally but shuts down and reboots in less than a minute. It is in a continuous boot loop. As suggested by you in another article, I had enabled USB debugging and installed a firmwire with INU CSC (downloaded from sammobile) with ODIN3 v1.85. As I wrote earlier, the result was PASS, but the tablet is in the same state as earlier.

Odin (オーディン, Ōdin? or オーディーン, Ōdīn?) is a recurring summon in the series. He made his debut in Final Fantasy III and several of his appearances allude to his original encounter.
