Several decades ago, while much of the world was busy making it illegal to display or even own a belly button, many Middle Eastern cultures were finding ways to celebrate its beauty. At Nomadic Tapestry, the hip-swinging instructors have studied these movements and unlocked their mysteries, which they teach to students during classes for beginning and intermediate dancers alike. Classes emphasize the need for good technique, which helps dancers develop control over their form and expression. In addition to dancing, the team teaches classes in Zumba Gold for seniors, and Middle Eastern drumming.
