The Nomad team is happy to present Nomad v1.8.4, which includes several enhancements, bug fixes, and security improvements for Nomad and Nomad Enterprise.


This release includes, among other improvements and bug fixes,


  • Added deprecation warnings for the removal of HCLv1

  • Added ability to associate network modes to namespace capabilities 

  • Disable cpuset management for docker tasks on non-root clients

  • Bug fix to avoid creating unnecessary evals for sysbatch jobs on node events

  • Bug fix to use parent ID for subject claim in workload identities


Please refer to the changelog for the complete list of improvements and bug fixes. We are also releasing backports of bug fixes to Nomad Enterprise v1.7.12 and v1.6.15.
