vault integration - request forwarding vs client redirection

Vault 0.6.2

We have vault setup to do client redirection.

Request forwarding is not used.

In order for Nomad to work with vault, will it work only with client redirection or does Nomad need vault to be setup for Request forwarding?

The client should handle the redirection, so it should just work!
