Hi,

I am exploring Nomad for our container orchestration requirements.
We are already running everything inside containers, needless to say, I will be interested to know if both nomad server and clients themselves can be run inside contain

Based on a quick search, I see this is possible via the docker socket mount. (example: http://charliedrage.com/nomad )

Are there any gotchas/limitations in this approach?

I do not expect Nomad to manage its own server/client containers, but other than this, are there any other restrictions?

Is there any official doc/guide towards above approach. A quick glance on nomad site failed to throw any such section.

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for calling it out. Yes, I have seen it but I don’t think this will be a problem for us.
