give my apologies if you receive duplicates.

I am Hideyuki Kato, the Director of Publicity at the NOLTA Society.

Because of his request, I am posting the information about the deadline extension of the Special Section on Emerging Technologies of Complex Communication Sciences and Multimedia Functions in the Nonlinear Theory and Its Applications (NOLTA), IEICE instead of Dr. Kazutaka Kanno (Guest Secretary of the Special Section).

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to inform you that the submission deadline has been extended for the Special Section on Emerging Technologies of Complex Communication Sciences and Multimedia Functions in the Nonlinear Theory and Its Applications (NOLTA), IEICE.

We warmly welcome your submissions to this Special Section, which is scheduled to be published in October 2025.

Important Dates:

Initial Submission Deadline:       April 24, 2025
Notification of Initial Decision:  May 27, 2025
Deadline for Revision:             June 23, 2025
Notification of Final Decision:    July 10, 2025

Submissions based on presentations at the IEICE Technical Conference on Complex Communication Sciences (CCS) and the Korea-Japan Joint Workshop on Complex Communication Sciences (KJCCS/JKCCS) held during 2024–2025 are especially encouraged.
