**Tonight (Monday Feb 1st) is the first night of our Beginning Lindy
Hop Swing Dance Series at 6pm and our Beginning/Intermediate Lindy Hop
Series at 7pm. Reply to this email to sign up.
**Thursday night 6-7pm & 7-8pm: Intermediate Lindy Hop Series. For
those who know the basics of Lindy Hop already and want to move beyond
the basics a bit. We will work on more complex moves, more rhythm
exercises, and the improvisation aspect of lindy hop. Reply to this
email to sign up for either time. Note: 7-8pm class is almost full.
**Lessons during Mardi Gras: Don't let Mardi Gras stop you from
signing up! We will discuss in the first class about whether we plan
to meet on parade days. We are open to changing meeting days to
accommodate those participating in Carnival activities.
**FREE LESSONS....We have added a focus to each free lesson so you
know what you will be learning from us in advance. Sundays at DBA we
will always work on Lindy Hop, Saturdays at Maison will always be
Charleston Variations, Wednesdays at The Spotted Cat will be Closed
Position Swing Dances (Blues, Balboa, and closed position steps for
Lindy Hop).
**FLEUR de LINDY is coming! During French Quarter Festival, swing
dancers in New Orleans host hundreds of dancers from all around the
world for a weekend of live music, social dancing, and swing dance
parties. Want to participate in the fun? Tickets will be on sale in
