Runtime error! on noki.exe

Hi

cannot get into my backup file.
it is 224mb size and i'm really curious wht is there?

but there is a message - runtime error and next - invalid hook handle.
I saw there is a lot of files coming from private folders - instlled
apps games etc.

what is wrog with my file?
i found it sotps on this file:

reading: E:\private\2000AFBC
\E5F51F22727F47FF92CF39952500144F.ldat.ngdat

could you help with tis?

I'm not sure if Nokia failed to extract some file or the file is
corrupt.

The file you mentioned (E:\private\2000AFBC
\E5F51F22727F47FF92CF39952500144F.ldat.ngdat) may cause the trouble -
Usually files in 'private' folder don't have file name that long.

Is it possible to split the backup file and send it over? (JR Split is
a easy to use file split tool at: http://www.spadixbd.com/freetools/jsplit.htm).
Some file sharing site will also do.

I'll try to fix asap.

Hi!

I just want to try your app, I choosen a backup file, (not too large
approx. 54 Mb) and the program crashed with Runtime error during
extraction. In the error message box header I saw: Microsoft Visual C+
+ Runtime library. If I upgrade my C++ runtime enviornment that
possible solve my problem?

hi,

It's not quite useful - Noki is installed the .dll it needs in the
installation directory. It will not search in system directory for
the .dlls.

I thinks it might be something wrong in the backup file which lead to
a invalid parse and then a runtime error.

it happens to all my big big files.
checked those files with restoring to phone - and int works ok.
but cannot get it working with noki..:(

Same here, the file size is 134 Mb, made by PC Suite 7.0.9.2 (in
Spanish)
The file that throws the exception is: "E:\private\2000C3EC\remotes
\15484.xml"

It says "Reading: E:\private\2000C3EC\remotes\15484.xml" and then the
Visual C++ exception
i've tried many times, renaming and removing spaces from the nbu file
and also moving the file to different paths (just to be sure is not
something about the actual location of the backup)

All the same, it stalls at the same file described before :)

Glad to help, looks like a nice program, still never saw it working
though :)
Just tell me if you need more test to be done

use backup parser n then noki to to extract ur contact from ur backup.

Noki v1.7 has already support a wide range of backup.arc file - you can extract contacts directly from the backup file instead of using backup parser.
