I have been backing up our managing directors Nokia N97 phone using
the Nokia OVI software and then by using your Noki software i have
been able to browse to the file and open it, then save as a xls file
in order to print the contact list. I have been sucessful in the past
in doing this but on this occasion the backed up file has failed to be
opened by the Noki software and comes up with the following error:-

Debug Assertion failed C:\PROGRAM FILES\NOKI\NOKI.EXE file wingdi.cpp,
Line:1096

I did a CTRL & F1 to create the trace.txt which is as follows:-

mms.lua(46): attempt to concatenate field 'BCC' (a nil value)
stack traceback:
mms.lua(46): in function 'parse_header'
mms.lua(437): in function 'read_mms_box'
mms.lua(787): in function 'builder'
nbu.lua(3133): in function <nbu.lua:3092>
(tail call): ?
noki.lua(1124): in function <noki.lua:1121>
stack traceback:
[C] in function 'error'
noki.lua (1114): in function 'run_task'
init.lua (116): in function <init.lua:113>

Any ideas what this error means ?

hi,

The error is caused by an invalid mms entry in the mms section.

You can disable "MMS" and "packed MMS" in the NBU Extraction Filter
(http://www.nokisoft.com/noki/how-to.htm#how-to-15-trouble).

To fix, please send me the backup file. I'll further check and fix
asap.

Best Regards,
Abrash Han

hi, Athene,

Try to turn off the 'vCard' section of your .nbu file in NBU Extraction Filter (about -> config -> …)
