Hello,

I want to play a sound when searching a webpage and the search term
was not found.

I tried the event ...

noise-TypeAheadFind.FIND_NOTFOUND

... but it does not work. -Any suggestions?

Hi, currently only `noise-TypeAheadFind.FIND_WRAPPED` was implemented.
I'll consider add support to NOTFOUND.

You can try this bulit-in config instead:
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Accessibility.typeaheadfind.soundURL

Thanks.

I modified the sound, now.

- That's what I did:In the in Firefox Location Bar (address bar) I
typed
"about:config ", and pressed Enter.-Then,
under ...accessibility.typeaheadfind.soundURL
... I modified the value of "beep"to :
"file:///C:/WINDOWS/MEDIA/chord.wav" (without quotes).
-Now Firefox plays a sound if the searchterm is not found.
