I cannot get my 6ES7972-0CB20-0XA0 to work. I have downloaded drivers and tried installed. Still not working.
All I see is this:
Online: The local MPI address for the programming device/PC is higher than the maximum device address or the wrong transmission rate or wrong interrupt is set.
I ma running windows 10.

I have bought your 6GK1 571-0BA00-0AA0 PC ADAPTER USB A2, and installed drivers from the internet, and it shows in device manager as usb pc adapter but when I try to connect to PLC s7-200 with simatic step7 v4.0 i cant conect because it requires to set com port in pg pc , but I only have usb .
Help please!
I figured it out how to get rid of this. Go to Control Panel -> Devices and Printers -> Right Click your PC -> Properties. The rest is explained in the attached image. Now windows will allow you to delete this folder. At the end, delete the simatic shell folder from My PC.
IGSS32 TSA interface offers dialled-up connections to SIMATIC S7/300 and S7/400 PLCs. The SIMATIC Teleservice adapter connects directly to CPU port on the PLC using the MPI protocol, and interface to the PC standard RS232C port through modems. The driver supports incoming- and outgoing dialled-up connections with standard IGSS32 dial-up features like reading id of calling node, performing call-back, reading historical data stored in the node and signalling end of operation when IGSS has scanned the calling node. The IGSS32 system polls the PLC equipment cyclically according to one of four user-defined intervals. The time intervals are configurable from 100 milliseconds to 999 seconds. The system automatically groups process data in data blocks- thus fully exploiting the communication link in relation to the present configuration.
