I spoke with the Audie Murphy Museum Executive Director today. A very nice lady named Susan Lanning. We talked about what they have and how they display things and they've got quite a collection of Audie's works and artifacts (even an apron that they say is his). They would be interested in getting a copy of his application to our Lodge.

When I approached the way they receive funding her response was "barely". They're not in a great situation, although probably not as rough as that which we find ourselves, but looks like there isn't a chance that they'll provide funding to us.

It was a great idea and maybe there are more ways we can approach this.
