Dear Angela,

Thank you for the initiative. I will not be coming however these are the comments I have heard from parents currently with children in the school:

a) The focus has shifted from providing a holistic education to the pursuit of grades which detracts from the whole purpose of education;

b) the fact that the gate was not finished for the celebration was an embarassment;

c) expansion of capacity of the school without paying attention to quality;

d) increasingly administration not being able to stand up to the pressure from the Ministry with the result that sometimes the students getting into the school are not the best.

e) the fact that the school buildings are not currently being well maintaned;

f) the fact that the experience in school does not seem to be memorable to the extent that most of the children are being forced to come back after S4 by their parents which never used to be the case.
