Government Application Submitted!

New Orleans' government application for Google Fiber was submitted at 3:15 PM today. Thanks for everyone's ideas, hard work and commitment.

This was a true community effort and is a testament to what has been built here in recent years. We still have a long way to go and will need plenty of additional support and effort, but for now we can take a breather. We'll keep you posted as we hear more.

Don't forget that community groups can submit to Google through tonight and on-going to our project at http://bit.ly/nolafiberpledge.
