It has been a FANTASTIC year at Noe!   As usual, our parents stepped up and made the Academic/Athletic Banquet terrific (and delicious) with your contributions of side dishes and desserts.  The PTSA always knows that you can be counted on to help when asked, and we really appreciate your support.

Speaking of support… don’t forget us over the summer!  Even though we won’t be in school, you’ll still be eating and shopping, so keep saving your

·         Boxtops for Education

·         Tyson A+ Labels (the WHOLE top tear strip)

·         Campbell’s UPCs and lids (if you have any sitting at home, send them in this week – we’re doing one more mail-in on Thursday)

·         And NEW school supporter Nestle Pure Life (bottled water) Labels

Keep reloading your Kroger Cards and naming us as the school you support at Target and Office Depot.  These little things really do add up and make it possible for us to make a difference for teachers and students at Noe.

If, like me, your child will no longer be attending Noe after this week and you’ll no longer need to receive this newsletter, at the bottom you’ll find the link to unsubscribe yourself.  If you’re feeling a little nostalgic and want to wait until next school year begins to take yourself off the list, the link will still be there … J However, to be kind to our new newsletter editor and list managers, please do this yourself rather than replying to the newsletter with a request to remove your name – it’s a big enough job entering all the new 6th grade family email addresses without taking all the “old folks” out!

Three very important staff members at Noe are retiring this year – before you leave for the summer, please thank and offer good wishes to Judy Staples, Gretchen Williams, and Donna Gladney.

It’s a busy last week of school – looks like the building (especially the 8th grade wing) will feel VERY empty most days!

Monday, May 19:

Wednesday, May 21:

Unless something else comes up, this is the last newsletter I will be writing to you.  Thank you for all your positive feedback during the year – I was honored to be able to help you connect to Noe and thereby keep you connected to your child.  Have a safe and healthy summer, and good luck to all of you in the future!
