Monday, February 18 is Teacher Conference Day – there is no school for students. If you haven’t signed up for a conference, you may still contact your child’s team online or by phone and catch up at another time, but most teams have filled all their times already. If you must speak to a teacher or team on Monday and don’t have an appointment, call the office to find out if there are any time slots left.
It’s Book Fair Week! Thanks to all of you who’ve volunteered to assist with the Fair. While you’re having your conference, please stop by and do a little shopping – you’ll support our school while enriching your personal library. Your child will have a time to visit the Fair this week as well, so sending a little extra spending money would be appreciated.
Thanks to everyone who volunteered to supply our teachers with meals on Monday during conferences. Please bring your donations to the Main Office Monday morning. If you have questions about this, please contact cin...@aol.com.
If you’re not having your conference on Conference Day, please make sure to complete the Comprehensive School Survey that your child brings home (and ask for one if it isn’t in a backpack). This survey helps our Superintendent and School Board make global decisions about the future of JCPS, and Dr. Berman is anxious to know what parents think. The surveys are due back to school by THIS THURSDAY, February 21.
