Dear Noe Families,

 

As the candy sale continues in full swing this week, I thought you’d like to know some of the other ways you can support our school during the year.

 

1.       JOIN PTSA!  Envelopes are still available in the office – children who are members will be able to attend a special dance on September 28.

2.       Wait to renew your magazines!  Later this fall, the PTSA will hold a magazine fundraiser, and you can renew at that time with Noe getting credit.

3.       Save labels and send them into school with your child:

a.       Boxtops 4 Education www.boxtops4education.com

b.      www.upromise.com

c.       Campbell’s Soup labels

d.      Tyson A+ Chicken packages

4.       Buy a Kroger card!  This reloadable cash card gives a percentage of all sales back to our school and costs you nothing to use.  If you don’t want your child responsible for money you can send in a self-addressed envelope and we’ll mail the card back to you – send in $5 and we’ll send back a $5 card.

5.       Have an hour a month?  Run for the Site-Based Decision Making Council.  This group, comprised of administrators, teachers and parents, is a key decision-making body of the school, focusing on student achievement and school improvement.  Nomination forms are available in the office, and the election will take place at the open houses next month.  Hurry – we need your nomination form as soon as possible (and yes, you CAN nominate yourself!)

6.       The tennis team needs help at their meets, which begin on September 6 and which are scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.  Contact Glenda Wagner (wagne...@insightbb.com) if you can volunteer.
